#16 Persistence
Once a week during the school year, Jake's class would watch a video made by Leap Frog called Letter Factory.
It is an awesome little video that in a very entertaining matter, teaches kids the alphabet and beginning phonics by introducing letter sounds. And the video works too because not only does Jake know all his letter sounds, but since purchasing it for them to watch occasionally at home (which has turned out to be daily), Jadyn is starting to learn her letter sounds too, which I think is pretty impressive.
But here is the funny part. You may a recall awhile back an instance of Jake wanting to know when he could ride in a plane, which I explained here. Well the other day at dinner Jake announced that he wanted to go to the letter factory. Not sure how to respond and not ready to explain that it does not really exist, I simply stated that it was far, far away. Jake, not missing a beat replied, "We could take a plane to get there!" That boy never quits.

The A says Ah, the A says A, every letter makes a sound, the A says Ah.
Daily viewing is enough to drive a person crazy.
