Furthermore, the project for February was a keepsake box. Right up Jadyn's alley and I was once again impressed with her creativity and attention to detail. I told her if I hadn't written her name on it for her, I might have kept the box for myself. Jake still hasn't painted his but I am holding out some hope that he might give it to me for Valentine's or my birthday.

We have all enjoyed Home Depot's monthly kids workshops and I really feel like it exposes the kids to do-it-yourself skills that will be valuable in the future.
